YL701 is as likely as Henkel’sBonderite NT-1. It is a fluorozirconic -based
chemistry that provides a ‘nanoceramic’ coating on clean metal substrates.
Specifically formulated for use on steel, zinc and aluminum surfaces,
BonderiteNT-1 dramatically increases the corrosion resistance on painted metal
surfaces. The technology may be small, but the benefits are huge.Now the iron phosphating with
subsequent sealing has been the standard process for metal surface pretreatment,
however, YL701
is proving to be far superior in terms of quality, ecology and economics. Free
of phosphate and regulated heavy metals, YL701
is ultra-thin and makes production processes significantly more economical.
This innovative surface pretreatment, applied prior to painting, is less
complicated and more cost effective than conventional iron phosphating. Outstanding corrosion protection
and paint adhesion YL701 is a suitable surface pretreatment for all conventional powder and wet
paint coatings. It can be applied by dipping or spraying and creates a
cohesive, inorganic, extremely high-density layer incorporating nanoparticles.

The traditional Iron-phosphate system requires a post treatment stage to
